The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a Recruitment & Onboarding Resourcer to join our busy People team. This is a 12 months fixed term contract. Located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire (hybrid role).The RoleTo support the Recruitment Manager in delivering a proactive recruitment process that not only meets operational needs and business objectives but also provides an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and candidates contributing to attracting and selecting the best talent for IPN and driving overall business success.Key Responsibilities of the Recruitment ResourcerAs a Recruitment Resourcer, you will be responsible for assisting in the sourcing, screening, and engagement of candidates to support the recruitment processScreen and assess candidate applications and resumes against job requirementsConduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability and interestMaintain regular communication with candidates to build relationships and keep them informed about job opportunitiesCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managersUpdate and maintain the candidate database (e.g., applicant tracking system) with accurate candidate information and recruitment statusEnsure compliance with data protection regulations when handling candidate informationAssist in drafting job advertisements and posting them on relevant platformsCoordinate logistics for recruitment activities such as assessment days, interviews, and eventsPrepare recruitment documentation and correspondence (e.g., offer letters, contracts).Skills, Experience & Qualifications of the Recruitment Resourcer Previous or similar experience in recruitment, administration, or HR roles.Can quickly adapt to changing priorities and recruitment demands and be comfortable with changeAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keepingProficiency in using recruitment software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is advantageous.Must be able to demonstrate proactivity by taking initiative in engaging with candidates and hiring managersWorks collaboratively with colleagues to achieve recruitment goals.Positive can do solution focused attitudeGood Excel / Word / OutlookThe Offer:Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire (Hybrid / Flex Working 3 days in the office)Salary: CompetitiveHours: 40 hours per week - Monday to FridayPension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%·(salary sacrifice company pension scheme)Holidays: 25 days + Bank HolidaysOther Benefits: Free parking, tasty treats, free electric car charging, bring your dog to work, discounted products & free hot drinksAbility to purchase heavily discounted pet food. The CompanyIPN is an innovative, well-established, and award-winning pet food manufacturer, now employing over 450 people across our 3 UK sites.
