Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for experienced Receptionist to join the Team. The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.Main duties and responsibilities:To welcome guests to the hotelTo register arrival and departure of hotel guests in a friendly, prompt & efficient mannerTo respond to guests' requests for information about the hotel and its surroundingsTo arrange for special services requested by the guestTo ensure guests' requests are dealt with by liaising with housekeeping, reservations, F&B and other departments.Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availabilityTo follow up and verify arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest’s name, address and method of paymentTo adhere to hotel cash handling policyTo handle reservations for guests with taxis, restaurants, etc To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.Requirements:Fluent English and excellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWorking on rotating shifts, including weekendsKnowledge of Hotsoft PMS is an advantagePrevious experience in similar roleEmployee Benefits:Meals on dutyRefer a Friend ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Recognition AwardsTeam Member rates & F&B discounts in Windward Management propertiesComplimentary parkingReferences:All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory referenceAbout Windward ManagementBallymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
