Apply today. The Role.GMC are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.The successful Quantity Surveyor will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a construction point of view. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assisting the Quantity Surveying team to manage subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants along with day-to-day QS duties.Experience in IW, ESB, or Drainage projects, or UK/Australian/USA similar industry ideal, but not essential.Assisting the Quantity Surveying team to assist with the preparation of monthly internal valuations and monthly cost reports.Reporting on budgets and variations.Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details.Tasks will be allocated to reflect increasing levels of development and experience. The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:Full clean driver’s license essential.A relevant qualification is desirable.3-5 years post-Graduate experience within the construction or utilities sector.Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.Time management abilities to meet targets.Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy. Become a part of something bigger.
