This position involves coordinating and overseeing various aspects of quality management, safety protocols, and risk assessment to support the organisation's commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and staff safety.Job Title: Quality & Safety Healthcare Administrator - Centric Health – Hybrid RoleLocation: 7th Floor, RSA House, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Rd, Dublin, D16 FC92Position Type: Part-Time – Monday – Friday (flexible)Hours: 21 hours per weekDepartment: Quality Safety and RiskReports To: Aine Donovan – Director of Quality Safety & Risk Centric HealthKey ResponsibilitiesQuality Management: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality control measures and procedures.Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to identify areas for quality improvement.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Safety Compliance: Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff.Maintain and update safety manuals, policies, and documentation.Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for prevention.Coordinate safety training programs for employees. Risk Assessment and MitigationIdentify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the medical setting.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.Collaborate with relevant departments to address identified risks.Monitor and report on risk management progress.  Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of quality and safety-related activities.Prepare and submit reports on quality indicators and safety metrics.Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Training and EducationProvide training and educational sessions on quality, safety, and risk management.Keep staff and healthcare providers informed about changes in regulations and best practices.Coordinate training sessions as requiredMaintain training recordsProvide training reportsContinuous ImprovementParticipate in quality improvement initiativesSuggest and implement improvements in quality and safety processesCompliance with Regulations Stay current with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.Ensure the organisation's compliance with all applicable laws and standards.Coordinate CHK’s accreditation processesQualifications: Qualification in quality, health & safety healthcare management, nursing, or a related field preferred.
