The role requires an individual with proven problem solving skills and a no-fault forward attitude.Responsibilities and DutiesProvide Quality Control support to Manufacturing areas, conduct inspection, collect measurement data, and ensure quality control documents are available to operators.Support Quality Assurance Engineers and Team Leaders in implementing preventative solutions to Quality concerns.Assist in the development, implementation, and auditing of Quality Control Procedures.Conduct “patrol” inspection assisting operators in identifying non-conforming processes to standards and identifying rework requirements.Performing immediate containment of reported defective products.Working Hours & Salary:Day Shift - 07:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30am - 1:30pm Friday - 40 hours per weekGuaranteed basic starting salary £15.16 x 40 hours per week plus guaranteed minimum £45 per week bonus plus structured overtime paid at premium rates outlined below:Level A - Overtime paid at premium of rate of £15.16 x 1.5 per hourLevel B – Overtime paid at premium rate of £15.16 x 2.0 per hourPay & Benefits:Annual bonus (for indication only) based on recent average £500 per annum.25 days holiday (increases with service, up to 30 days), plus bank holidays.Staff discountsFree on-site parkingSubsidised refreshments (drink and sandwiches).Health cover scheme for dental, optical etc. (Additional Membership available for Partners, paid for by employee. Kids membership included for free)5% contributory pensionLife insurance schemeExperience:Visual Weld Inspection Qualification e.g. PCN Level 1Experience in manufacturing practices; Welding/Fabrication, Assembly and Pressing.Ability to use basic measuring equipment, e.g. Vernier, bore micrometre, bore gauges, Go/No Go gauges etc.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;Computer literate – with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint also Access;
