Quality Assurance Manager United Kingdom – Hybrid Permanent, full-time Competitive salary + car allowance + bonus plus benefits  We are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager who has experience in the Gas Transmission, Gas Distribution, Pipelines and / or Utilities Industry to work with our team.As a Quality Assurance Manager at QEM you will support the management and development of the QEM QA department and work directly for our clients.QEM work in the Gas and Water industry and are recognised as being the specialists at what we do. Due to this recognition we are constantly in demand and in need of new members of staff to develop our service offering.More about the role: Development and management of the QEM QA departmentReport to line manager on performance and commercials.Assist with department forecast and budget requirements.Line manager to QA resources including contractors.Provide professional QA advice and support to our clientsAssist clients with development of their management systemsFulfil the QA/QC Manager and Engineer Roles for clients as and when required including but not limited:o  Develop, Review and accept project specific Quality Plans, ITPs.o  Co-ordinate the approval of welding and NDT procedures and other process procedures.o  Co-ordinate the approval of installation, inspection and test procedures.o  Audit construction activities for compliance with procedures / quality plan.o  Audit the compilation of vendor material certification.o  Review and monitor main works contractors' compilation of construction and test records.o  Witness construction tests as required by the quality plans.o  Carry out periodic QA meetings with the main works contractor.o  Provide ad-hoc and technical advice to the Project Manager.About you:Received formal training as BS EN ISO9001 assessors or auditorsPossess an appropriate engineering qualification and had formal training and be accredited to undertake external audits.Member of a professional institute (QCI or similar).Preferably have a background in the gas, oil or petrochemical industry.Preferably have a good understanding of pressure systems, pressure regulations, BS EN 10204 etc.What we can offer you:Company pension Family Private Health InsuranceLife assurance scheme (x4 salary)Competitive annual leave plus bank holidays About us:At Adler and Allan Group, we're not just a company – we're environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
