Apply today. The Role.GMC are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Advisor to join our team. The successful QAQC Advisor will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a quality point of view. To ensure that all products, services, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The Quality Assurance Advisor will be responsible for implementing quality control measures, conducting audits, and providing guidance on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer/client satisfaction. A strong ethos on health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation are essential qualities. The Role:Full-time position, may require occasional travel to various sites.Office environment located in Blanchardstown Corporate Park with regular site visits for audits and inspections. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Quality Control and Assurance:Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance systems and recommend improvements. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all operations adhere to relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and communicate these changes to the relevant departments.Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required. Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement within the company's processes and procedures.Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance and continuous improvement practices. Customer Service:Address and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues.Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure quality-related feedback is integrated into quality assurance processes. Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect and analyse data on quality performance metrics.Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, quality performance, and improvement initiatives.Present findings and recommendations to senior management. Collaboration:Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, engineering, customer service) to ensure integrated quality management.Provide guidance and support to teams to help them understand and implement quality standards. The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:Possession of a full clean driver’s license.A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.ISO9001 internal/lead auditor certification preferred.Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous.Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 19001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TII specifications, "The Purple Book".Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential.Experience in developing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).Familiarity with sampling materials in the utilities industry.Audit experience within utilities or construction sectors.Ability to draft procedures and policies for organization-wide use.Competence in preparing handover files for clients (including safety files and operations and maintenance manuals).Experience in creating quality management plans.Proven track record in leading external audits.Minimum of 2-3 years of quality assurance experience in utilities or related fields.Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.Self-assured, driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.Effective under pressure with adherence to strict deadlines.Excellent time management skills to achieve objectives.Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Upholds integrity and values confidentiality and privacy. Become a part of something bigger.
