Tricel are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic QHSE graduate to join the team.As an QHSE Graduate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations. You will assist our experienced Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) team in implementing and maintaining effective safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in QHSE within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will have regular one to ones with your manager to discuss your development and career. The successful candidate would be starting the QHSE Graduate Programme in September 2024.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the QHSE team to develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, analysing root causes and recommending preventive measures.Support the implementation of training programs to enhance employee awareness of safety protocols and best practices.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to QHSE activities.Contribute to the continuous improvement of QHSE processes and systems.Any other duties that may ariseCandidate ProfileBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline).Strong passion for safety, quality assurance, and environmental sustainability.Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse data effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards will be an advantage.IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Word.Ability to prioritise workloadAptitude to learning and showing initiativeExcellent Team playerOpen to feedback and eager to develop What do we offer?At Tricel, we care about you and your progression.
