Public Area Assistant

The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel, located in Tralee, Co Kerry.We are open all year round and have 161 bedrooms, restaurants, bar, meeting rooms, function room, gym and spaThe role of Public Area Cleaner involves working both an early and a late shift.Main duties of the role are as follows:·        To clean and maintain all public areas to the highest standard·        To clean and maintain all public toilets on a daily basis·        To clean the gym & spa on a daily basis (deep clean once a week)·        To clean and maintain function room toilets on a daily basis·        To deep clean the bar & restaurant once a week·        To clean and maintain all employee locker rooms and toilets·        To clean and maintain all guest corridors, stairs and lift lobby’s·        To report any maintenance issues in public areas immediately ·        To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel·        To assist in achieving goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and Hotel standards·        To ensure all requests are handled promptly and efficiently·        To promote the Hotel where possible·        To ensure we always offer guests consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring. If there is a late departure, this room is not be to cleaned unless the room can be resold·        If required to service a room to ensure that it is serviced to the agreed standard.   To report any maintenance issues in bedrooms and public areas immediately.
