You will supervise duties associated to our protective coatings services, leading the teams throughout, included but not limited to spray application of polyurea, spray applied vinyl esters in chemical locations, dual layer resin tank lining techniques and hand applied protective coatings where applicable.You will also be responsible for successful completion of allocated coating works and projects, taking full ownership of coating project works, planning resource, manpower and equipment needs and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, you must be able to communicate with the operations team and customers by email and in person, ensuring all are kept up to date with progress and programme commitmentsYour Responsibilities: Liaison with clients, to include site visits collating information enabling them to support the wider protective coating team in accurate quotation creation.Mentor and train protective coating technicians in their journey to become fully competent and conversant in all products and equipment operated by the team.Production of scope of works documents, risk assessments and method statements.Assist with the preparation of job packs prior to works commencing.Assist the Operations Manager as and when required with out of hours call outs & staff allocation Project planning to include ordering materials and other resources.Responsibility for ensuring the security of all Company vehicles and equipment. This includes ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and used in the correct manner.Works to be carried out in accordance with health and safety to include provided RAMS documentation. The post holder is required to use knowledge and experience to contribute to the pursuance of works and meet customer demand and satisfy works.Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.Liaison with Operations Manager regarding all works and recommending improvements or possible opportunities.Responsibility for ensuring cleaning all plant and equipment post job. The post holder will also be responsible for identifying repair work required. This includes ensuring the depot, yard area and office facility is clean and tidyEnsure all uplifting and offloading of product and materials is undertaken in the correct and compliant manner with high regard for health and safety and correct working practices.Responsibility for ensuring all vehicle checks are undertaken prior to commencing any works. It is the post holder’s responsibility for ensuring all required equipment is located and stored on the allocated vehicle for the pursuance of works. Operating Company vehicles which the post holder is suitably qualified to operate.Reporting any vehicle defects to Operations Manager as soon as identified.Audit vans and make sure operators are keeping them stocked and clean.Hold full responsibility for effective communication with all field staff at all times: rearrange any work requirement should this be needed.Deliver Toolbox Talks to the operations team weekly and hand in the signed off sheets to the main office.Protect and develop the reputation and name of the company at all times.Any other task that the post holder is competent for as deemed necessary be depot managementDeputise for the Operations Manager / Supervisor as required. Audit the yard regularly and make sure all equipment is put back correctly and that the yard and warehouse are clean. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience of operating in a coating’s environment, using similar equipment to Adler and Allans assets and products, confidently and without guidance is essential.Coating inspection qualifications, either AMPP or ICORR, are not essential but would be advantageous.Demonstrate and promote thorough understanding of the importance of RAMS documentation and an ability to work safely within the scope of such documentation, ensuring all colleagues adhere to works instructions identified in RAMS.Willingness to undertake any additional training to increase capability of the division in supplying a service to customers.Must possess relative licence categories to operate and control vehicles which the post holder is qualified to operate.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, with internal and external clients.Previous experience of Supervising/Managing various projects and on-site teams.Be able to work under pressure to ensure works are delivered to time frames.Possessing IOSH managing, or SSSTS is advantageous.Right to work in UK.Full Clean UK driving licence. Why Choose Adler and Allan: By becoming a part of the Adler and Allan Group, you’ll embark on a rewarding journey where we truly value your ideas and contributions.
