Project Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our Contracts team in EPS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing water and wastewater treatment projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.Key Responsibilities:Project management: of all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works includedHealth & Safety: coordinating safety and liaising with our internal HSQE Department and enforcement of safe work practices onsite during all site installationsDesign: supporting the design team in delivering innovative solutions and using modern technologiesProcurement: all items required for project deliveryCreating project program and ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handoverClient Engagement: collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular project updates and ensure customer satisfactionResource Management: of all site labour including subcontractorsDocumentation: writing engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedulesKey Competencies and Skills:Proficiency in PC skillsExcellent inter-personal skills and communication skillsStrong engineering analytical and problem solving skillsStrong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environmentHave a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater IndustryHave proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electrical environmentDevelop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlinesProject management / Site management / M&E Installation, Personnel management and any Water &/or Wastewater industry experience will be an advantageQualifications:Third level Mechanical Engineering degreeSimilar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered2 to 3 years experience in a similar role desirableFull Irish driving licence Compensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits packageRobust graduate programmeOpportunities for professional development and career growthCPD accredited employerA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone providedFlexible working options, dependent on location and role requirementsSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
