Project Delivery Lead Location: Hybrid working with 3 days based in the Leeds Office. There will be a requirement to travel regularly, to an Aqua, Adler and Allan or partner location within the UK, planned travel to Ireland may also be required. Permanent, full timeCompetitive salary plus benefitsThe Project Delivery Manager will lead and develop a team of project managers, ensuring the effective delivery of projects and contract management. They will oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring all contracts align with quality, time, cost, and margin requirements. A key responsibility will be managing client projects, working closely with technical teams to define scopes and coordinate resources while maintaining strong client relationships. Governance and compliance will be integral, ensuring IMS adherence, conducting project audits, and implementing corrective actions where needed. Key Responsibilities:Manage central Project Management team, ensuring collaboration and high performance across various departments.Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members, fostering professional development.Lead and manage complex, high-value client projects from initiation through to successful delivery.Coordinate and oversee the execution of multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with client goals.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.Understand clients' business objectives and provide tailored solutions to address their needs.Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring swift resolution.Ensure contingency plans are in place for potential project obstacles.Escalate critical issues and challenges to senior leadership when necessary.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (senior leaders, business development, technical teams, etc.) to ensure successful project outcomes.Develop and present status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and third-party service providers.Continuously assess and improve project management processes and methodologies.Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization.Ensure quality control and ensure that projects meet or exceed client expectations.Oversee project budgets and financials, ensuring profitability for the consultancy.Prepare and review project cost estimates, change orders, and invoices.Track and report on project financial health, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.What you'll bring: Proven contractual experience with NEC contracts (PSC and ECC)Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and clients simultaneously.Solid understanding of financial management and budget control in project contexts.Strong leadership and team-building skills.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.Water sector experience will be advantageous.What we can offer you:Enhanced maternity,  paternity and adoption pay and leaveCompany pension Life assurance scheme (x4 salary)Medicare Cash Plan (includes cash payments towards dental, medical, therapeutic treatments) with the option to add up to 4 dependantsRefer a friend schemeEmployee assistance programme (access to GP appointments and mental health support)Competitive annual leave plus bank holidays Training and career progression opportunitiesWhy Aqua Consultants?We are a fast growing organisation with highly experienced staff at the heart of everything we do.
