Job Title:Retrofit Supply Chain - Programme ManagerSalary:€75,822Tenure:5-year fixed term contractWork Location:DublinClosing Date:Midnight Friday 12th April 2024Role Profile:We have an exciting opportunity in the Retrofit Directorate. The Retrofit Directorate is responsible for delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors. The main areas of programme activity include delivering the national retrofit programme and supporting communities to implement sustainable energy use strategies and deliver energy efficiency projects.To reach climate targets, we need to scale home retrofit numbers to tens of thousands of homes performing a deeper retrofit. Future SEAI programmes are expected to drive significant demand in the wider retrofit market, this will require significant scaling up of the complete retrofit sector from contractors, installers, products and materials.This position will play a key role in the Retrofit Directorate and will work with programmes across the directorate and its three departments; Delivery, Technical and Communities & National Retrofit. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Communities & National Retrofit.  The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of Ireland’s National Retrofit Plan.Essential Requirements The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:Degree level (or greater) or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering, science or architecture.Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in this or a related sector or in a similar role.Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.Ability to work with and influence actors in the construction sector.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking.Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of business process development experience.Knowledge of communities, building technologies industry, buildings, environmental or another relevant sector.Strong team-player and flexible.Full Driving Licence.Desirable RequirementsExperience in supply chain or procurement management.Experience in QS, particularly in the retrofit sector.Qualification in project management methodologies..Eligibility to Work:The SEAI has a legal obligation to ensure that all employees are lawfully entitled to work in Ireland.
