Process Quality EngineerWolverhampton (i54)As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Process Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our manufacturing and operational processes adhere to the highest quality standards, driving continuous improvement and excellence.What you'll be doing MAIN TASKS & REPSONSIBILITIES To carry out all actions in line with group health and safety requirements. To proactively carry out health and safety observation logging and to lead health and safety discussions with staff members as required Work with the Product Quality Manager, prioritising complaints and determining root cause of failures and to write reports on findings to support complaint resolution actionsTo drive process improvement by working with operations and the manufacturing teams at both ERA.To carry out quality auditing both internally and externally as part of the business IMS and to support Purchasing in line with supplier selection processes.To drive and co-ordinate the MRB, Material Review Board to ensure a timely resolution (GI materiel, WIP, Supplier NCR’s).To promote supplier development and improvement by monitoring performance against agreed KPI’s for both China and ROW.To support and attend quality improvement projects/new product meetings as a presence from the QC department and to cascade information accordingly.To initiate and/or support continuous improvement activities as a result of complaints/customer queriesUndertake product surveillance inspection activities, including incoming product AQL, in process component and manufactured product investigation inspections in accordance with service level agreements.To report back to management on a monthly basis on product failures and analyse trends and areas of concern.Identify and manage areas or issues with a high risk to the business.To approve and generate SOP’s/FQC’s/TQC’s where relevantWhat we're looking forTo have an understanding of Health and Safety requirements in the workplace and to be able to work in a safe manner at all timeTo have good knowledge of CAD, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT) and the ability to analyse and critique technical drawings To have experience in manufacturing processes and to be hands-on.To ideally have a knowledge of Kaizen, Six sigma and to be able to carry out six sigma analysis on product failures Capability to assess product compliance against pre-determined criteria.Proficient at using general inspection equipment including measuring equipment Generate and roll out operating procedures.Ability to define and document inspection criteria  Proficient using Microsoft Office packages especially Word & ExcelTo have a knowledge of quality tools and techniques and to give examples of when they have implemented these techniques.About usHere at Tyman UK and Ireland, our purpose is to transform the security, comfort, and sustainability of living and working spaces through our expert touch.
