Centre Manger - PreschoolLocation: GlasnevinContract: Part-time, term-time role (20 hours per week), 38 weeks per yearSalary: 16.50- 19.50This is a stand-alone role of full responsibility and accountability for the management and operation of pre-school business. The Manager will be responsible for the overall management and delivery ofa high-quality pre-school service. The Manager will ensure that all good practice standards are met in the delivery of an early years education and care programme. The childcare practice in the service should be regularly reviewed and evaluated to ensure high quality standards are continuously developed and maintained. The Manager will be responsible for the efficient financial management and operations of the service. A brief outline is below):To ensure the ongoing successful management and financial viability of the preschool business is maintained.To ensure that the preschool operates at full capacity.To efficiently manage the registration of all new children and waiting lists in line with the ‘Admissions’ Policy and Procedure.To ensure that the building is maintained to the required standards and any maintenance work is completed in a timely manner.To maintain and monitor security, systems and alarms, for the building where applicable.To maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all aspects of the business, which are easily retrieved, necessary to the running of the afterschool in accordance with the Child Care Act 1991 [Early Years Services] Regulations 2016, the Child Care Act 1991, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children, 2011 and the Department of Health and Children ‘Our Duty to Care’.If the above job description sounds like you and you are ready to take the next step in your career please follow the link & apply, we can't wait to hear from you!!
