Key responsibilities:●       Assisting in the execution of all services associated with the collection, sorting, distribution and delivery of national and international mail.●       Monitor day to day running of Mailroom services & equipment including sorting and franking of outgoing mail.●       Liaise with and coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services ●       Undertake general housekeeping activities as per contract requirements. ●       Monitor and replenish stationery stock levels, when required●       Day to day management of reactive tasks as assigned from the client or Post Room Supervisor.●       Take a pro-active approach to enhancing the facilities services delivered to the client.●       Running of General Services & post room services to the requirements of the SLA.●       Scan documents to the relevant teams and locations as directed●       Dealing with inquiries from the client, face to face, on the telephone and email.●       Processing of archive files and tracking signature movements using the onsite computer systems.●       Provide information to support monthly performance reporting.●       Assist the Post Room Supervisor in carrying out ad hoc projects and various small projects.●       The maintenance of the photocopiers and stationery supplies (including toners & paper).●       Assisting with print/dispatch requests from the client ensuring all GDPR measures are adhered to●       Ensure the highest standard of customer care is delivered all the time.●       To ensure written procedures are carried out.●       Ensure that all Health & Safety policies and procedures within your area of responsibility are complied with and fully maintained. About you:●       Experienced in post room or another customer service function.●       Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction in every interaction.●       Ability to develop and follow processes●       Ensure all other duties and tasks requested by any Mitie Management are completed in accordance with requests and in line with contractual obligations, client company procedures and policies.●       Support and attend all training courses identified and as required by your line manager.●       Carry out any reasonable work requests made by your line manager in which you are deemed competent to do so.●       To cover other positions while colleagues are on leave or breaks – potentially in other departments.    Mitie is an equal opportunity employer This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
