At Kilsaran, we are trusted by businesses and contractors alike to produce quality construction materials that are fundamental in the creation of our national infrastructure, including large commercial buildings, domestic and agricultural construction, office blocks and major road networks.Based from our Millennium Business Park site on Cappagh Road Dublin, the successful individual will work as part of the Maintenance Team supporting our production sites in the greater Dublin area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of plant components and structural metal works in a safety-driven, efficient manner. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.Responsibilities:Fabricating, assembling and installing metal components for fixed plant and machinery.Carrying out welding (MIG/ARC) and metal cutting operations.Performing repairs, maintenance and modifications to existing plant structures and mechanical systems.Reading and interpreting basic drawings.Ensuring quality finishes and dimensional accuracy in fabrication tasks.Supporting general mechanical maintenance activities on Dublin sites as required.Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.Skills Required:2/3 years Fabrication and Industrial Maintenance experience within a relevant industry (quarry, sand & gravel, concrete, recycling or waste processing).Proficient in MIG and ARC welding techniques.Experience in using fabrication tools and Gas cutting equipment.An ability to read and make basic fabrication drawings.Practical knowledge of rigging, slinging and jacking proceduresDemonstrated ability to work independentlyFull Driver’s License (Preferrable)What You Get:Kilsaran is an organization that believes that our people are our greatest strength, and our success is down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our team.
