Payroll Specialist Location: Harrogate (Hybrid working available)Full-time, PermanentCompetitive salary plus benefitsAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. This is a hybrid role based in Harrogate, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the group, in compliance with current legislation.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and input payroll data accurately and efficientlyConduct minimum wage checks and payroll reconciliationsAdminister pensions and auto-enrolment assessmentsProduce and distribute payslips, P45s, P60s, and payroll reportsCalculate average holiday pay for variable pay staffMaintain electronic payroll records and filing systemsRespond to employee pay-related queriesSupport payroll costings and journal preparationAdminister payrolled benefits and maintain scheme membership listsAssist in training new payroll staffSupport the Assistant Payroll Manager and Group Payroll Manager with ad hoc tasksMore about you:In depth payroll experience, including starters, leavers, statutory pay, and leaveStrong knowledge of PAYE/NIC legislation and payroll best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level)Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong communication skills and confidence to liaise across all levels of the businessExperience with pensions administration and automatic enrolmentAbility to manage workload independently and meet strict deadlinesAt Adler and Allan Group, we're not just a company – we're environmental champions committed to protecting our planet while helping businesses thrive.
