Position         Partnership Tax Manager  Location        Centric Health, RSA Building, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin D16 FC92 Terms             Permanent Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday: 9 am-5.30 pm Excellent, unique opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to accelerate their career by joining a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare business. Requirement for a qualified accountant to support our growing GP partnership network by bringing strong accounting and tax capability to our Finance function. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the key stakeholders to provide a professional, value-added service to our partner doctors, and ultimately to our patients. About Centric HealthCentric Health’s core operation is running successful GP clinics nationwide that focuses on optimising both patient care and commercial performance. We currently operate and manage over 70 practices nationwide. The cornerstone of our business model is the operation of individual partnerships with lead doctors in each of our practices.Centric Health has now reached a scale where it needs to consolidate the management and administration of its partnership tax and accounting function into one critical, dedicated role. This represents a new stage in our growth journey, and we are therefore seeking a high calibre individual to join our shared services team to manage this vital part of our finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the relationship between partner doctors and Centric Health Finance on all aspects concerning their financial position with their relevant practicePrepare annual practice accounts in a format that supports annual partnership tax computationsEnsure timely completion of partnership tax computations and filing of the associated Form1 tax return within annual filing deadlines.Liaise with doctor’s tax advisors where required and provide them with any Centric financial information as requestedEnsure all partnership agreements, addendums, amendments, etc. are catalogued and correctly recorded in the monthly accountsAssist with annual Corporation Tax filings for Irish group companiesOversee the administration of corporate and partnership Revenue Online Service (ROS) accounts, including registration of new partnerships, new partners, retirement/departure of partners, and Tax Clearance CertificatesUnderstand key commercial arrangements with partner doctors across the networkOversee timely and accurate onboarding of newly acquired practices, including completion of onboarding reconciliation within 90 days of acquisition.Ensure the monthly drawings payment process is run effectively and efficiently.Calculate monthly and end-of-year partner profit shares for each qualifying partner doctor, and ensure correctly recorded in the accountsManage the Partner Capital Accounts accounting and reconciliation process monthly and liaise with auditors on the sameManage the Professional Services Withholding Tax (PSWT) accounting and reconciliation process monthly and liaise with auditors on the sameMaintain accurate aging of PSWT balances and ensure timely collection of the sameManage the Capital Account settlement payments/receipts process to contribute to good working capital management What skills you need:TechnicalQualified Accountant, ideally in practice with a mixture of tax and audit experienceKnowledge of tax computation basics, particularly partnership taxStrong Excel skills with ability to work with pivot tables and lookup functionsAbility to link commercial agreements with accounting entries and reconciliation of the sameGood organisational skills to manage a large and varied set of data supporting the practice accounts InterpersonalExcellent communication and relationship management skillsAbility to deal with queries from non-financial (doctors) and financial (doctors’ advisors/accountants) on financial mattersGood team player and proven ability to work well with colleagues from diverse backgroundsAmbition to develop and grow within the role, will ideally match with a candidate with experience in practice looking to bring their knowledge of tax and accounting to a more commercial environment. The role will be a hybrid mix of in-office, on-site, and working from home/remote. Centric Health is an equal-opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
