VPG has recently been awarded a new contract with a large corporate veterinary group following a successful tender process and we need a Partnership executive to support the opportunity for growth from this. This is a full-time and permanent role which will also be home based with visits to the local laboratory when required for meetings and training and training.Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo support the VPG Partnership Manager with business development and sales strategy, working within the wider Partnership team. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK and Europe, through independent and corporate practices and buying groups. Focus primarily on building relationships with veterinary practices within the new corporate partnership Build and maintain relationships with Key personnel within corporate client groups at all levels.Responding to customer correspondence via email or telephone. CPD organisation with independent practices and associations.Analysis of revenue for their allocated group of practices, identification of practice loss and gain, following up and communicating to the Partnership Manager, and on occasions to the CEO.Build a pipeline of new prospects through various business development techniques.Develop a strong understanding of our customers’ needs and present relevant services.Identify new veterinary practices within a given area and book meetings to discuss the range of diagnostic services that we offer.Working closely with the Marketing team to tailor campaigns to new and existing client’s needs.Work closely with the Partnership Manager and Laboratory directors to promote campaigns, CPD and other marketing initiatives.Cross sell additional VPG testing into our existing client base.Focus on client retention and satisfaction.Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the given time frames.Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.Track prospect and sales information within our HubSpot CRM system.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Continuously improve through feedback.Be willing to attend exhibitions and other industry trade events regularly.Be coachable, and willing to learn from constructive feedback and always striving to learn and improve.Undertake any other duties within the team, which may be requested by your line manager.4 days travel per week visiting veterinary practices (at least 60 practices per month) and 1 day per week for administration either in the local laboratory or remotely at home.Knowledge, Skills, Attributes & ExperienceEssential Highly motivated and target driven, with a proven track record in sales and business development. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills, along with ability to work as part of a team. Highly skilled in selling and negotiating deals. Must be able to prioritise, organise and manage time effectively. Clean UK Driving License. Advance knowledge of MS Office. Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot with a ability to build productive business professional relationships. Demonstrative experience of winning new business. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback. Client oriented mindset. Desirable Previous experience in scientific sales with a focus on Veterinary and/or biomedical sciences.Please note: While this job is remote the sales area in based in West Midlands / Birmingham area. Regular and extensive travel in this area is required.
