Despite these, she is highly active, enjoys socialising, and is incredibly happy at school. The ideal candidate will provide care and encouragement to help the child achieve greater independence, with the goal of decannulation. The role requires carers to be specifically trained to manage her medical needs, including her tracheostomy and ventilation in a school setting. The child thrives with consistency and familiarity, so she prefers to work with the same carers. However, the successful applicant should be comfortable with her unique care requirements and able to safely provide her care even if they are not her regular caregiver. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a bright and lively young girl’s journey toward greater independence, with support from her skilled and fully trained parents. What HFH offers?Hourly pay rates range between £14 – 17.93 p/hr*.Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - 555 p/wk*.The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950*.We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax.
