Operations Manager

The Galway Bay Hotel is seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager.The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to maximize the performance of Hotel operations including guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, and sales and revenue.Key ResponsibilitiesEffectively lead, motivate, and communicate clearly to assist the team in achieving their goals and objectivesManage the operations of the Hotel to ensure positive customer experiences through the implementation of the correct standards of serviceWork with General Manager to maintain and develop systems, policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the businessWork closely with the Financial Controller and General Manager to ensure financial budgets and targets are achievedEnsure effective relationship-building with customers, local businesses and the communityFull familiarisation with and management of the Hotel agenda including compliance with brand standards and property auditsSkills & ExperienceA minimum of 2+ years previous senior Hotel Operations experienceExcellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience within the Irish Market would be advantageousAwarded Best Employer in Galway by Galway Chamber of Commerce, the Galway Bay Hotel is also delighted to be part of the Failte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme and has been certified as A Great Place to Work.
