Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager for the 4* Killarney Plaza Hotel. The O’Donoghue Ring Collection is home to Hotels, Apartments, Spa, Restaurants & Bars centrally located in the vibrant town centre of Killarney and CastleIsland, Co. Awarded a ‘Great Place to Work’ in 2022 and 2023 as well as the Green Hospitality Certified. What you'll do:Manage the day-to-day operations of this busy property.Responsible for guiding, developing and implementing new processes and procedures.Ensure the smooth running of the hotel, focusing on service and standards throughout the Hotel.Ensuring that robust and comprehensive agendas and action plans are prioritised with key team members.Ensure a positive working relationship with senior managers and heads of departments.Having a hands-on approach to the role.Plan and control rosters Coordinating the Health & Safety protocols.Oversee training with the hotel Oversee the ordering of stock and ensure cost control measures are in place for all departments within the property.Work with senior management and the kitchen team in relation to the HACCP plan.Ensure excellent service is provided to all our guests at all times.About you:Previous experience working at an operations level within the hospitality industry.A strong knowledge of all hospitality departments with a particular emphasis on food, beverage and new initiatives taking place within the industry.Experience in training and development within the Hospitality industry.A strong proven track record in achieving results and working towards targets.Confidence working with hotel systems.
