Cork. T45 CH93. If you are interested in a rewarding career in our operations, with ample opportunity for growth, and want to be a part of a dynamic and supportive team, then we encourage you to apply today.The duties of the Night Shift Manager role include:Plan and organise the teams to ensure that operational requirements and service levels are achieved.Identify training needs of team members and implement the plan to resolveManage team members effectively to maintain a high working standardStrong problem solving skillsEnsure that the teams are fully trained and performing in line with their job specification, compliant with company health and safety policy, including (but notlimited to) manual handling and fire evacuating procedures.Take responsibility for shift Health and Safety issues in conjunction with company Health and Safety guidelines.Manage use of temporary employees through close monitoring, briefing and motivation to ensure performance criteria is met.Plan contingencies to minimize business risk and ensure that all requirements are continually met.Develop and maintain effective local working relationships within the framework of the company’s procedure agreements and associated policies.Daily reporting requirements and scheduling as necessary.Follow and implement company policies and procedures.Ad-hoc duties as necessaryThe Successful candidate must have:Have a commercially acceptable level of English (spoken and written)Proficient on computers (Excel, Email, Reporting platforms, CRM systems)Previous management experience (3 years +)Excellent timekeepingSafety AwarenessKnowledge of Irish geography and specifically depot coverage areasPrevious logistics industry experienceProblem Solving and People Management experienceLicence/Certification: Counterbalance & Reach Forklift CertificatePeople development experienceTime management and organisation skillsHours of Work9pm-6amJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:On-site parkingWellness programBike to work SchemePositive Career ProgressionSchedule:8 hour shiftSunday to ThursdayLicence/Certification:Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certificate (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)#FAST1
