Kildare is just 35 minutes from Dublin City and close to all major routes. The Hotel comprises of the four-star contemporary styled 108 bedroom Osprey Hotel, Spa, Conference Centre, Business Campus, Osprey Leisure and the Herald & Devoy Restaurant. We are delighted to announce our €1 million new conference suite which was designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE’s ‘Home of the Year’, Hugh Wallace. The ballroom has been completely revamped into an elegant and contemporary multi-functional space. This stunning room can accommodate 400 guests for a theatre style conference or up to 320 at round table for weddings and everything else in between with it’s versatile design and functionlity.The Role We are looking for someone who is friendly, helpful and empathetic to the core. If this is you, then this position is a perfect match. The Night Porter is a varied role which takes into account all the departments within the hotel including bar service.Key Responsibilities:To great all guests in a warm and a friendly mannerCheck in guests on arrival.Function and meeting room set upTo prepare and serve beveragesFull knowledge of all items (food & drinks) on the menuStocking up bar and preparing for serviceEnsuring the lobby and public areas are kept clean and presentable at all timesEnsuring toilets are clean at all timesEnsuring hotel exterior including car park are kept clean.Ensuring all reasonable guests' requirements are met promptly and professionallySafely and professionally handling guest luggageHandling guest queriesPreparing room service and delivering to guest room.To adhere to all Company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Cash Handling etcEffective communication with other employees to ensure the day to day business runs smoothlyWhy Work With Us?
