Night Porter

We have an open position for a part time night porter to join our team at The Inn at Dromoland.The night porter ensures the safety and security of the hotel's guests and property at night time.Given the size of the property, our night porters work in pairs.Main Duties Include:Complete docket checks and inform early duty manager of any discrepanciesCarry out security & fire checks at regular intervals (12am, 2am, 4am & 6am) and log any irregularities in the handover bookTo efficiently check in/out guests during hours of dutyTo carry out any food and beverage service as ordered after 12am, to the agreed standardTo deal with any guest queries and needs quickly and effectivelyTo carry out cleaning as per the night cleaning scheduleTo set up meeting rooms to the agreed standard, checking all equipment is correct and in working orderIdeal Candidate:Previous experience in a similar role desired but not essentialOutgoing and friendly personalityGood communication skillsExcellent attention to detailPrevious experience with Opera or other front office systems is beneficialMotivations.Free Leisure Centre Membership Sick Pay SchemeNight premiumWellness Programme (offering health and wellbeing activities throughout the year).Pension Scheme (after 6 months probationary period)Discounted rates on accommodation, food & beverage and spa & leisure activities in both Dromoland Castle and The Inn.Christmas Gift cardsUniform dry cleaning providedStaff Meals providedDevelopment & training programmesIf you think that you would be a good fit for the Night Porter position, please apply using the link below.
