Night Duty Manager

The Metropole Hotel is currently recruiting for the position of full time Night Manager. The Night Manager will represent management during the night. This role is responsible for enforcing the hotels standards of excellence for all areas being supervised. This might suit someone currently in a night porter role and looking to progress their career.Main responsibilities:Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shiftAssist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the departmentProvide leadership and support to all members of the front officeAct as a manager on duty for the hotel during the night shiftManage the night shift in the department ensuring that all employees perform the tasks assignedExperience & Skills requiredPrevious experience in a similar role is essentialPrevious experience in a customer facing role in a hotel environment is essentialExcellent communication skillsAbility to lead, motivate and mentor teamAttention to detail and ability to work on own initiativeCompany benefitsFree car parking, complimentary access to Hotel leisure facilities, discounted rates for family and friends in group hotels, opportunities for career development
