Duties and Responsibilities:Safely transport medical samples and other materials between various locations in Ireland, primarily originating from Dublin.Maintain a professional driving record that upholds the reputation of Truly Dental.Adhere to strict collection and delivery schedules agreed upon with clients and the laboratory.Ensure all bags are properly sealed and maintain the appropriate temperature during transit.Accurately count, sort, and log deliveries.Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy.Undertake any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.Safety Requirements:Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly to management.Ensure proper use and maintenance of all work-related equipment.Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reporting any errors or necessary updates.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Timely delivery of samples within agreed-upon turnaround times.Maintenance of the company vehicle to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.Required Qualifications and Skills:Valid Irish driver's license (Category A for motorcycles).Previous experience as a commercial driver or courier.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete log sheets.Ability to work independently and proactively.Eligibility to work in Ireland.Additional Information:This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent driving Successful candidates will be subject to a background check and driving record review.
