The Midwifery Adaptation program will facilitate the completion of academic training and clinical practice placements to enable required standards to be met in order to gain NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) registration and practice as a registered midwife in Ireland. Upon successful completion of the Adaptation program and following NMBI registration, candidates are required to continue their employment with the Rotunda Hospital for an additional 2 years period.
