Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant in Blackrock Clinic, in your 37 hour week you will: Assist laboratory scientific staff in the performance of pathology examinations under the supervision of a qualified medical scientistBe responsible for correct sample handling, identification and registrationPerform routine equipment maintenance and maintain records according to protocolBe flexible and adapt to changing workloadsFollow good laboratory practice and work to ISO 15189 standards at all times All if this will be applying your background in science, preferably a BSc in Biomedical or Biological Sciences. You’ll be working in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
