Mechanical Maintenance Technician

EPS Group has an immediate vacancy for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Service & Repair Team based in the Kildare area. ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day mechanical expertise within a Water treatment environment.Be responsible for maintenance and system support on all process equipment and pumping systems in the Leinster AreaUse analytical troubleshooting skills to quickly determine the root cause and all necessary repairs.Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in an efficient, safe and in line with current H&S legislation.Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation using our mobile CMMS systemPlan work activities in conjunction with the Service Manager and Area SupervisorRequirementsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical TradeKnowledge of water pumping systems, Engine driven equipment (pumps, generators, Compressors), Pipework installation and pressure/flow instrumentation.Experience in S/S and plastic welding an advantage.Candidates should be flexible regarding working hours.Full Driving LicenceStrong teamwork abilitiesGood verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent technical problem-solving skills.Committed to maintaining high safety and work standards.Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.Skills:Mechanical Maintenance pumps pipeworkBenefits:Flexitime Parking Paid Holidays Mobile Phone 23 days holidays
