Marketing Assistant with Digital Focus – Temporary ContractNovember 2024 – April 2025Petmania require a confident marketing assistant with strong digital marketing skills to join their busy marketing department. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving customer traffic online and in-store through the implementation of our digital strategy using paid and organic activity. You will also support the Marketing Manager in the execution of in-store activities, point of sale, and traditional media and other marketing activities as required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Plan, create and & implement weekly social media content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTubeWriting and implementing optimized blog content Creating and managing Google Adwords and META ad campaignsEngaging and expanding social media fan base on a daily basisAnalyze social media performance and report findings in weekly analytics reportSkills required:·       Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite·       Excellent written and spoken English ·       A good eye for design for print and digital media·       Strong attention to detail ·       Capable of working on your own initiative and taking ownership of projects ·       Good team player·       Occasional travel·       Marketing or business qualification / commercial experienceDesirable skills:·       Skilled in the use of Google Adwords, Google Analytics and META Business·       Experienced in Social Media Advertising, segmentation and user profiling·       Familiarity with and experience of using Social Media for business·       Experienced with Klaviyo and email automation ·       Experience in Wordpress and YOAST SEO is preferrableSoftware: MS Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint; Google Adwords, Analytics & Business locations; META Business Centre & Ads Manager; YOAST SEO; Wordpress; Adobe Suite; Video editing and recording;
