This position focuses on implementing programs, strengthening partner relationships, and supporting operational improvements across the network. The Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, partner organizations, and community stakeholders to ensure equitable access to food for all, particularly vulnerable populations.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:-Leads the expansion and strategic coordination of GHFB’s Hunger Relief Network throughout South Carolina. Aligns daily operations with long-term goals and ensures that network activities support the organization's mission and impact objectives.-Facilitates ongoing communication, information sharing, and collaboration among network partners to strengthen food distribution channels, enhance operational efficiency, and promote equity in service delivery.-Implements approved food access programs targeting underserved communities. Provides coaching to partners and internal staff on best practices to enhance program delivery, increase capacity, and promote lasting impact.-Builds, maintains, and strengthens relationships with schools, nonprofits, civic organizations, and other local entities. Serves as a trusted liaison and representative of GHFB across the region.-Represents GHFB in local and regional forums related to hunger relief and community collaboration, serving as an advocate and thought leader for food equity initiatives.-Collects, evaluates, and interprets programmatic and partner data to identify trends, gaps, and emerging opportunities. Applies insights to inform strategic and tactical decisions in real-time.-Conducts regular partner check-ins, site visits, and audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Provides technical assistance and support to help partners meet expectations and resolve challenges.-Partners with internal teams on grant applications, impact reporting, and storytelling efforts. Contributes qualitative and quantitative data, success stories, and field-based insights to support fundraising and communications efforts.-Actively monitors program budgets and resource allocation, providing timely updates and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.-Models collaborative, data-informed, and mission-driven leadership. Fosters a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth within the Hunger Relief Network and GHFB’s Community Impact team.-Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities-Responsible for the leadership and supervision of assigned Community Impact staff members.-May lead volunteer groups and participate in volunteer-driven events. Skills & Qualifications-MS Office Suite, especially Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook Mail, PowerPoint, Forms-Exceptional customer service-Organizational abilities such as prioritization, time management, and goal setting.-Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.-Teamwork and initiative-The ability to multitask successfully in a fast-paced environment.-Available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays-Occasionally available to travel overnight for meetings and special eventsEducation and/or Experience-Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.-At least 3 years of progressive task management experience in hunger relief, public health, or the nonprofit sector.-At least 3 years of direct management or mentoring experience with staff in a leadership or managerial role.-Proven experience in coalition-building and cross-sector collaboration.-Experience in grants management and performance evaluation.-Knowledge of USDA programs, food bank operations, and hunger relief initiatives.-Familiarity with the challenges of rural and urban food insecurity. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations-Must have a valid driver’s license-Obtain ServSafe Handler certification within the first 6 months of working at GHFB. Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
