Contract type: Full Time Specific Purpose Contract (You will be employed for the purpose of Interim Management Accountant will report to the Group Financial Controller. Your employment shall be for the purpose of providing cover during another employee’s long term sick leave. Your employment will continue until this employee returns from long term sick leave or terminates their employment with the Company. Minimum expected duration of this is 6 months, with the possibility of permanent. The Role:The Management Accountant’s key responsibilities will be:Monthly management accountants consisting of profit and loss account, cashflow, and balance sheet for our operating companiesBalance sheet reconciliations.Profit and Loss AnalysisVariance AnalysisRevenue ReconciliationJournal entries.Bank PaymentsBank Reconciliation Statutory Accounts and preparation of audit files.Adhering to monthly closing TimetablesAssistance with Vendor ManagementAssistance with Payroll typically performed by the local financial adminsAssistance with Debtors Management Key Requirements · Part Qualified / Qualified· Currently working in practice or industry· Experience preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet, cashflow, reconciliations· Experience working on balance sheet and P&L accounts analysis and reconciliations. Knowledge Skills Experience · Effective communicator and be fluent in English (written & spoken)· Competent in IT particularly Excel and Outlook· Sage or similar ERP system experience· Good Organisational Skills & Time Management Skills· Attention to Detail.· Reliable and Accurate.· Be able to work on own initiative and part of a team.· Flexible & Adaptable· Commercially minded part qualified or qualified accountant.
