Management Accountant

Role Definition--Support the Senior Management Accountant in controlling the daily, weekly & monthly reporting requirements.-Business Partner to the three reporting departments on site, working closely with production & operations.-Provide detailed, accurate data on the site departments – Production Costings, Yields, Stock reconciliations, Input price calculations, other KPI’s.    -Production of other various Site & Group reports.-Support the Site Stock Controller to record & monitor stock movements within the site & to external storage locations.-Provide additional support to the Financial Accountant & Assistant FC where necessary. -Consolidation & analysis of daily Production costings, providing feedback & variance commentary.-Reporting of other daily Production Data – KPI’s, Offal’s, Hot Fillets, Yields, Weight loss, Input price calculations.-Business partnering site operations & commercial to ensure clear visibility & reporting of activities.-Analysis & control of daily Livestock movements, stock control & pricing. -Record & monitor stock movements, particularly external cold storage locations & provide weekly & monthly reconciliations.-Lead the finance department involvement in month end stocktaking process – site & local external locations.-Production & submission of weekly P&L accounts for the site departments.-Additional Group financial reporting requirements – daily, weekly & monthly (volumes, labour, gross margin).-New Product Costings – lead the process from feasibility to production.-Support the Financial Accountant during the month end reporting timelines – P&L & Balance Sheet reconciliation, Inter-Company agreements.-Resilience – solutions driven & cost aware.-Effective execution – makes things happen.-Communication & Influencing Skills – at all levels, Internal & External, dealing with all stakeholders.-Teamwork – being part of a high performing department & being able to business partner non-financials.Knowledge and Experience--Highly developed numerical & analytical skills, dealing with large quantities of data from different sources.-Able to communicate at all levels of the Organisation & with multi-functional teams.-Excellent time management skills to deal with tight deadlines& ability to work under pressure.-Proficient with MS Office suite with very strong Excel capabilities. Hours of Work-Monday-Friday8am-16:30pm Can be discussed further at interview.Salary-TBC at the interview.
