Maintenance Technician.

Summary: Hanley Calibration are hiring Maintenance Technicians for a Bio-Similar Manufacturing Facility in Reykjavik, Iceland. The plant is located on the grounds of Reykjavik University. The purpose of the roles advertised is to complete preventative & corrective maintenance activities on process, laboratory, facility & utility equipment with brand names such as: Thermo-Fisher, Finess, GE, Metler Toledo, Parker, Repligen, Cytiva/Pall, Sartorius & others Responsibilities·        Perform day-to-day preventative, corrective & on-demand maintenance routines.·        Hands on role at trouble shooting & fault finding.Liaise & coordinate external contractors with maintenance or breakdown service.Develop a detailed understanding of all clean-room HVAC, equipment, and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve problems.Resolve technical issues in an effective & timely manner to support operations.Ensuring equipment/systems meets the required legal, divisional, and corporate standards.Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety, and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well at Global and Technical standards.Ensuring safety standards are met and safe-working practices are adhered to.Communicate effectively with plant management, corporate and division engineering. Qualifications & Experience:National Craft Certificate in Fitting, Mechanical or Electrical Senior Trades or equivalent 3rd level degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Building Services Engineering Proven Mechanical or Electrical competency in a Production and Packaging led environment.2 years technician experience working as a maintenance technician in a GMP environment or manufacturing plant.A strong knowledge of utilities, processes, pneumatics, hydraulics & conveyer systemsKnowledge of Purified Water systems Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills.Demonstrate effective communication with all levels of departments and contractorsAbility to be an individual contributor & work independently Remuneration & Benefits:Competitive Salary + a weekly living allowance.A rent free, fully furnished Apartment .Regular return flights to Dublin (approx. 5-6 weeks)·        Annual performance bonus,·        5% contributory pension scheme, ·        VHI allowance, ·        Increasing annual leave with service, ·        Education & study support, ·        Employee Assistance Program, ·        Access to Hanley Green Grant Initiative
