Location: Cluain Mhuire Services, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. DublinInitial Base:Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services. LOCUM CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST IN THE PSYCHIATRY OF LEARNING DISABILITY (ADULT)Part Time (0.5FTE/ 18.5hours per week) on a Locum BasisSaint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the part-time post of LOCUM CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST IN THE PSYCHIATRY OF LEARNING DISABILITY (ADULT). The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users. Role SummaryThis is a key role, and part of a great team. The successful candidate, along with two other Consultants (1 x full-time, 1 x part-time 0.5FTE), will jointly provide community mental health intellectual disability services to people living in those parts of CHO 6 covered by the Cluain Mhuire and Dublin South East Mental Health Services.  Minimum RequirementsThe following professional qualifications and experience apply to this appointment: 1.    Must be on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry of Learning Disability maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered within a six month period.Initial locationThe initial location of this role is Burton Hall Campus, Sandyford Industrial Estate, however, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
