Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do.We are currently looking for a number of Locum Cardiac MRI radiographers to assist us in our busy Radiology unit. In this role you will be:- Comply with the Radiology Department Guidelines and Department Protocol- Prepare patients for MRI procedures taking their physical and psychological needs into account- Ensure MRI safety protocols and procedures are always adhered to, along with maintaining high standards of patient care- Perform MRI perfusion studies, adjusting image parameters to acquire high quality images while taking the patients’ needs and clinical indication for the scan into account- Obtain intravenous access and administer contrast agents/drugs required for CMR procedures.
