Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do.Role Profile:Supporting critical applications and infrastructure in modern hi-tech hospitals across Dublin, providing technical support via its service helpdesk as third level support to Blackrock Health staff and coordinating with third party suppliers. The role is responsible for but not limited to:· First-line technical support and assistance to end users· Ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of their IT-related issues · Handling incoming support requests via phone, email, or our ticketing system· Troubleshooting problems to identify and resolve common software and hardware issues· Assisting with inventory of software and hardware assets· Effective communication and excellent customer serviceQualifications/Experience:· A relevant 3rd level IT qualification· Customer service experience desirableGeneral Expectations: · Support the philosophy, objectives and goals of Blackrock Clinic. · Observe the appropriate lines of authority. · Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the activities of Blackrock Clinic. · Continue to develop personal knowledge and skills and seeks outside educational opportunities. · Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. · Carry out other such duties as requested by the Manager or his/her deputy. · Present a professional appearance and conform to the dress, hygiene and infection control policies of the Clinic. · Flexible attitude to changing work practices.
