Job description:Main Responsibilities:· Demonstrate personal cleanliness.· Manage stock areas with good stock rotation and organisation.· Follow our Food Safety Policy.· Follow Health & Safety policy and Safe Working Practices to maintain a safe place to work.· To wash and polish all crockery, cutlery and other kitchen utensils needed· To ensure that kitchen machinery is clean and maintained at all times· To ensure that floors are cleaned and free from spillages in the kitchen and storage areas at all times· Keep back of house and kitchens clean according to cleaning specifications· Assist chefs when required in kitchen dutiesThe Ideal candidates will have:· A real understanding of a kitchen operation· an ability to work on own initiative· Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English· A structured and organized approach to work planning· A flexible approach and be available to work shifts· Passion, energy and enthusiasm
