Tigers Childcare requires an experienced qualified professional creche kitchen cook to work in our busy kitchen in Pembroke Wood, Cork.Knowledge of HACCP; food preparation; allergies and allergens; health and safety rules in the kitchen are completely essential. This position will involve liaising with the manager and crèche staff keeping abreast of children’s dietary requirements.Start date: ASAP (subject to Garda vetting & reference checks)Rate of Pay: €13.00Hours: 35 hours per week (9.00am - 4.00pm Monday – Friday)Contract: Permanent full time Roles and Responsibilities of Creche Kitchen Cook:Keep kitchen equipment, tools, and practices sanitary; be responsible for cleaning the kitchen. You would follow strict hygiene, health and safety rules and maintain records for same. You must be impeccably clean all the time.To take day-to-day responsibility for the provision of meals and snacks for the children in the centre.Follow HACCP Safe Catering Guide and procedures.Document and complete the relevant records according to the Safe catering Guide.
