Job DescriptionDue to our expanding business we are recruiting for a well organised, enthusiastic Technical Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic wireless team. The role is based in our Ireland HQ in Limerick office or our UK HQ in Magor. They will be joining a very experienced team of talented individuals with expertise across a wide variety of engineering disciplines and proven success in delivering large scale projects.Reporting toProject ManagerRole and Responsibilities§ Ensure project expectations are fulfilled § Work within team and support the senior technical engineers § Provide technical support for the project team in the areas of Radio, Transmission, Power, Structural, rigging all while considering the optimal solution as per client requirements & constraints§ Ensure deliverables are ICNIRP compliant § Assess design proposals for electrical and HVAC compatibility§ Knowledge sharing and upskilling project team § Communicate and enforce current project-specific and industry standards and specifications internally § Support effective interaction between onsite & office teams § Ensure high quality product is delivered to the Client Experience§ Industry experience desirable§ 3rd Level degree with focus on engineering / telecoms§ A broad knowledge and understanding of the various site solutions, emerging technologies and passive/active infrastructure as part of wireless network rollout§ Experience working to operator design standards § ICNIRP compliance understanding§ CAD experience desirable in the production of drawings § Radio engineering or transmission background desirable§ Good knowledge and understanding of wireless technologies for mobile networks§ Good knowledge of Antenna System, BBU and Tx components § PC Literate (proficient in MS Office) § Installation & Commissioning / Field Engineering experience beneficial§ Full clean driving licencePersonal Attributes§ Professional, positive & organised problem-solving approach§ Ability to prioritise tasks & work to tight deadlines§ Keen to learn & develop skills§ Strong team player§ Good communicator & IT literate§ Attention to detailSalary: Negotiable depending on experienceLocation will be either Magor, South Wales or Limerick, Ireland.
