We are now seeking a Junior Procurement Assistant to join our Procurement & Sustainability Department.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a structured and supportive environment, contributing to the smooth and efficient operations of the hotel’s purchasing and supply chain activities.As Junior Procurement Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day procurement and stores functions of the hotel. You will ensure that goods are received accurately, stored correctly, and distributed efficiently to all departments while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.You will also work closely with the Procurement Supervisor and Head of Procurement to uphold the hotel’s sustainability objectives and cost-efficiency goals.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect all deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity match purchase orders.Notify the Procurement Supervisor and suppliers of any discrepancies or damaged goods.Record and manage purchasing data accurately using the hotel’s procurement systems.Prepare and process requisitions, returns, and transfers as required.Maintain proper organization and hygiene standards in the Goods Receiving bay and storage areas.Assist with monthly and annual stocktakes.Issue stock and supplies to departments according to approved requests.Ensure compliance with HACCP standards for food delivery and storage.Support sustainability initiatives within the Procurement Department.Adhere to all Health & Safety, fire, and hygiene regulations.Carry out additional duties as directed by the Procurement Supervisor or Management.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
