The projects we are working on are spread across various locations in Ireland so if you are looking for your next opportunity we would be keen to hear from you.Overall Role ObjectiveThe Junior & Intermediate Quantity Surveyor role is diverse but includes offering expert advice on all commercial aspects of construction or property developments, including management of costs and contractual matters. Key responsibilities and duties will include the following: What you will be doing?Assisting the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor with relevant project cost management activities.Provide support to the Construction Team on all QS functionsAttending all handover meetings.Following up contract documents, ensuring they are acceptable and signed.Following up on the required bond and ensuring it is issued.Ensuring relevant insurance is in place, including respective subcontractors.Scheduling of interim valuation dates for assigned project.Projecting cash flows for assigned project.Producing reports for construction meetings (Profit/Loss).Monitoring variations including tender vs construction drawings / costings with project margins.Final account in conjunction with project managers.Ensuring invoices are issued and follow up on payments.Schedule of retentions.Closeout meetings.C.C.S.
