Junior Engineering Surveyor

Due to continued growth, Ferrycarrig have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineering Surveyor to join our team.This position will be based on a project in the Sydney Metro Area.The successful candidate must be available to work night shift and weekends. About usFerrycarrig is a leading constructor of utilities and civil infrastructure. We are a multi-disciplined contractor with the in-house resources and the capabilities to deliver all aspects of our projects.We own and operate a large fleet of plant and equipment and employ a large, diverse workforce that has extensive experience delivering large and complex utilities and civil infrastructure projects.Ferrycarrig has made a significant contribution to some of Sydney’s largest and most significant infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets.What you will be doing Conduct Site Surveys using the latest technologies (Robotic Total stations, GPS, GNSS, Dumpy Level)As-built surveys, general set-out, and compiling as-built plans for large civil construction projectsData management and the proficient use of survey softwareLiaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors and help enable timely delivery of the project.Supervise other personnel in the surveying teamIs this job for me Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surveyor working on construction or civil construction projectsBe degree qualified in Surveying/or hold relevant tertiary qualificationsHave demonstrated experience in all aspects of engineering and construction surveyingHave demonstrated experience with civil or utility infrastructure projectsBe accurate and attentive to detailDeliver clear and concise instructions to the project teamsEnsure that work is completed to a high standardHave the ability to supervise other personnel in the surveying teamIn return from FerrycarrigExcellent Hourly rate on offer Mobile Phone and Laptop20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysGet involved with large civil infrastructure projects in the Greater Sydney areaProfessional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledgeOur Core Values:At Ferrycarrig, we take our core values to heart.
