To support our ongoing Digital Transformation, we have an excellent opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Support Lead who will have responsibility for DPS Group IT infrastructure in its USA offices and will work closely with the infrastructure team based in Europe.DPS is looking to hire a Level 3 System Engineer in the USA with responsibility for DPS Group IT infrastructure (Server and network) in its USA offices, working with the Infrastructure team based in Europe. This role will be based in our Boston Framingham office, the option to be based in our Albany office may also be considered.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overall system and infrastructure availability in the USAResponsible for day to day system administration, including management of LAN/WAN, server infrastructure and system backups in the USAMonitoring business critical systems and servicesHyper V support and administrationStorage management – Storage pools/LUNS Configuration and Installation of network infrastructure including servers in new and existing officesWork with Group IT Infrastructure team to plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levelsWork with Group IT Infrastructure team to develop and lead the replacement of infrastructure at the end of lifeMaintain and improve server and network performance, reliability and securityMonitor and Manage Veeam and Datto backup infrastructure Direct involvement in incidents and problems that cause service impact and act as an escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely mannerWork with Group IT Infrastructure team to establish standards and best practices for managing server and network infrastructureProviding Technical support and guidance to Desktop support team Work with the Desktop support team to set SLA criteria for the availability and performance of IT infrastructureEducation / QualificationsDegree in IT Microsoft Certification preferred (We are a Microsoft House)CompTIA Network+ or CCNA preferredExperience3 to 5 years experience supporting Server and Network InfrastructuresIn depth working knowledge of Hyper V and Microsoft Windows ServerGood technical understanding of network technologies and concepts Familiar with other Virtualisation technologies such as VMWareGood working knowledge of Active DirectoryGood working knowledge of Office 365 AdministrationGood understanding of SCCM & IntuneGood understanding of IT Security and Data ProtectionStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of usersExcellent Oral, Written and presentation skills
