Kildare base with hybrid workingGRADE VI (CLERICAL) Salary Scale: €55,644 to €67,981 annually The ICT Team Leader will manage all of the organisation's IT systems, including planning, implementation, and daily operations. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled leader who is a team player, be a strong problem-solver, and will supervise an ICT Support Officer.The role will be based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare with hybrid working available and travel required for on-site support in Kare’s various locations in Co. Kildare, East Offaly, and West Wicklow. ResponsibilitiesLead the IT Team’s day-to-day activities to the ensure that the Organisation’s ICT systems are running smoothly and efficientlyAdministration of:Office 365 and Azure Kare’s Network including Switches, Firewalls and Access PointsICT Security including Access, Anti-Virus, MFA, Account Access management etcKare’s Microsoft Hyper-V Servers Ensure effective disaster recovery plans are in place and operational along with adequate routine back-upsDevelop and implement policies and processes for the Information Management and Information and Communication Technology areas in the organisationHelp ensure all sites are adequately equipped to maximise the use of available ICT resourcesManagement of 3rd party ICT vendors and act as a liaison/escalation point for end user issuesBe aware of and ensure compliance with policy, legislation, and professional requirements This list is not exhaustiveRequirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an ICT customer-facing/engineer support role.Strong technical knowledge of network administration, system security, and IT InfrastructureAdvanced knowledge and experience working with the MS Office (Excel, Word, etc)Experience with administering Microsoft Azure and Office 365, cloud computing, data storage, and software managementExperience with Microsoft Forms/Flow/Power Automate and PowerApps is advantageousExperience working with the public sector (e.g. procurement etc.) is advantageousStrong administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively plan, manage multiple tasks and set prioritiesEligibility to work in Ireland Full Irish drivers licence and access to own vehicleBenefits 32 days annual leavePaid Maternity/Paternity Leave (subject to service)Rewarding work with flexible hoursEmployee Assistance Programme ESDA.ie and local Employee DiscountsContributory Pension Plan Optional Salary Protection PlanPersonal Development, Professional Growth and Career Progression A detailed Job Description is available on request.
