Hygiene Supervisor

The Role:To supervise the team to maintain Hygiene standards based on CIC’S, SOP’S and company procedures, ensuring all requirements for foods safety, quality, legality and customer are met. On Offer:£14.85 per hour (£37,065 per annum)48 hours per week (Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 18:00)PermanentThe Company:IPN is an innovative, well-established, and award-winning pet food manufacturer, employing over 850 people across our 4 UK manufacturing sites. Our kitchens in Thirsk, Kinmel and Crick produce dry, wet, and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world.Key Responsibilities:Co-ordinate all cleaning activitiesAudit scheduled cleaning requirements to CIC’S standardMaintain daily, weekly & periodic sign off records ensuring correct and accurate completionTrain hygiene operatives to ensure they are adhering to cleaning instruction card standardsEnsure operatives are completing all hygiene operations in accordance with Health & Safety including COSHH, product safety, legality & quality requirements.Promote clean as you go and work to these standards daily.Ensure Hygiene operatives always wear PPE correctly, hairnet, safety shoes, overalls, chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses and any other PPE required.Work with Hygiene Manager within budgetary constraints, monitoring and managing colleaguesUnderstanding pest awareness and report any activity to your Line Manager.Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the safety, health & environment policyCarry out fabrication audit.Skills, Experience and Qualifications :Basic knowledge of Health and SafetyFood Safety– level 3.
