Hygiene Operative (Night Shift)

From the core of our business in consumer food production, we have companies as diverse as pet food manufacturing to renewable energy, giving our colleagues a broad range of opportunities for progression throughout our groupABP Linden have an exciting opportunity based in our Retail site for a Hygiene Operative ROLE:You will be responsible for ensuring hygiene and cleaning standards are met, health and safety rules are adhered to and ensuring machinery and equipment is thoroughly cleaned for the next morning’s production.  Fundamentals of the Job: To ensure that a high standard of cleaning is achieved on a daily basisTo ensure periodic cleaning schedule is completedTo sign off cleaning dutiesTo support manager and supervisors during internal and external auditsTo control chemical and consumables usage, to ensure effective useTo supervise the water usage during operationsTo ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all timesTo ensure quality standards are maintained through a system of monitoring and auditingTo liaise with operations to prioritise daily work plan and ensure equipment is available for start upTo carry out ad hoc projects as requiredLiaise with various departmental personnel and customers as requiredTo adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulationsTo work in a manner as to prevent or minimise the risk of accident to yourself or othersTo comply with manager’s instructions in a timely mannerDrying of equipment, floors ceiling etc. after washing upREQUIREMENTS Experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industryFood hygiene certificate is desirableGood understanding of EnglishPrevious experience using industrial chemicalsThorough and conscientious work aptitudeWillingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team under minimum supervisionAvailability to work flexible working hours including evenings and weekends Closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 10th November 2025  ABP LINDEN IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER
