Liaise with line managers/staff regarding staff changes and support line managers with HR queries in relation to policies and procedures.CORE HR System: ensure that CORE HR System is current and reflects changes for payroll on a fortnight basis or as needs arises, i.e. changes to contracts, reduced hours, unpaid leave, etc.   To audit CORE HR system to ensure staff details are accurately recorded to assist reporting.System Reports (Management Reports): Ensuring appropriate reports are in place to support management information and data analysis.Maintenance of HR Files in line with Data Protection Legislation. As part of the HR team, to be responsible for maintaining up-to-date employee records and HR database system, both hard and electronic format, relating to all documents concerning an employee; this also in HIQA files as required.Ensure an understanding of the rostering process and implications on Contract Management. Complete various administration tasks at the end of each payroll period. Pension Management – Ensure all pension details are collated and communicated to the Pensions Company in a timely manner. Increment Management – Ensure staff receive increments as required. Participate in the HR Department initiatives, this includes ideas generation and involvement in various projects.Policies and Procedures: interpretation of legislation pertaining to employee’s terms and conditions of employment in accordance with legislation, national agreements, etc.     Working Relationships and Communication:Understand and operate all relevant local and organisational procedure, directives and general information made available through the line manager and accessible on the Association’s intranet or elsewhere as relevant.Develop and contribute to good working relationships in the Organisation and with all other relevant personnel. Report to and appraise line manager or designate of all work related issues and difficulties.Follow the Association’s Grievance and Disciplinary Procedure, available on the Association’s intranet.Maintain strict confidentiality relating to matters regarding personnel and services.Attend and actively participate in staff meetings as required.Actively participate in supervisory support as per Organisation Procedure.   General:Promote and develop good community networks which support service user inclusion and integration. Promote a positive image and name of the Association in the wider community.Be accountable and responsible for input into service/department planning and delivery, together with job performance as per role within the Association.Promote dignity at work and show respect to service users, colleagues and stakeholders in the course of duty.
